A half-hour drive will take you to the Van Phuc Silk village. Right at the gate of the village, you will see a number of silk shops where you can choose any kind or colour you want. Van Phuc silk products are divided to various grades and designs, but all are at reasonable price. Further inside the village, you can enjoy an ancient view of a northern Vietnamese village, with communal house and well, lotus pond, ancient banian tree, and a market…all alongside modern houses.
