Cancellations And Cancellation Fees
All cancellations must be received by us in writing, via email or fax. There are no fees or charges if you cancel your reservation more than seven (7) working days before the due check-in date. In this situation we will reimburse the payment to your credit card.
Reservations cancelled inside seven (7) working days prior to the check-in date incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the value of one (1) night's accommodation, as per the hotel's no-show policy.

Tour Bookings

Child Discount
Children under 12 years are generally granted a reduction of 50% of the tour price, provided that they are accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stay in the same room. Any extra bed is charged at the full adult rate.

Deposits And Payment
A deposit of 20% of the tour price per person, plus bank charges (credit card/bank transfer processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking. If this amount is less than US$100, a deposit US$100 per person applies. Once a deposit is received, it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.
The remaining balance of the tour price (80%) is due upon arrival in Vietnam, payable at one of our three offices in Vietnam. Cash is preferred in order to reduce any processing fees that may affect you.

Cancellations And Refunds
All cancellations must be received by us in writing, via email or fax. The following rules apply for tour cancellations:
. More than fourteen (14) days prior to tour departure: The total deposit paid to us (20% or US$100), less the administrative fee, remains valid for one (1) year from the date the deposit was received, in accordance with advance cancellation arrangements. During this period (365 days) the amount deposited can be applied to other tours and services. After one (1) year the total deposit amount is forfeited.
. Less than fourteen (14) days prior to tour departure: Complete forfeiture of deposit, due to hotel charges we incur for guest no-shows.

Unused Services
No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.
Travel documents will be compiled after the deposit has been received and are sent two or three weeks prior to departure. These documents will be sent via email, and should be printed out by participants and retained as positive confirmation.

Responsibility
All possible care is taken to ensure that our suppliers maintain the highest possible standards. However, we are not responsible in any way for problems, however they arise, that result from the booking of services we do not directly control.
Discover Halong, its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, servants or agents shall not be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to any events beyond our control.

Validity
This information is valid at the time of publication but is subject to change without prior notice. However, should any changes occur, they will be posted on the website immediately. Regardless, should the Terms and Conditions change after the deposit is paid, the Terms and Conditions under which the deposit was paid shall apply.
